The GLP-1 & Peptide Pathways Report is a digital add-on for existing PlexusDx genetic test customers, generated from the DNA profile already on file with no new sample required. It delivers 151 genetic insights across 14 peptide-related biological pathways, spanning 49 peptides analyzed at the DNA level across 49 genes and 58 SNPs. Weight Management is the largest pathway with 34 insights, covering GLP-1 and incretin-related biology, and it analyzes eight compounds at the DNA level including Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and Retatrutide. The remaining pathways cover energy and metabolism, muscle growth, tissue repair, longevity and aging, skin health, immunity, inflammation, mood, cognition, brain health, sleep, reproductive health, and sexual health. It analyzes how your genes relate to these pathways. It does not recommend, prescribe, or determine which peptides or medications you should use, and it does not predict how you will respond to any medication. Some compounds analyzed, such as Retatrutide, are investigational, are not approved by the FDA, and are not offered by PlexusDx. PlexusDx prescription programs are a separate service: an independent, U.S.-licensed provider decides whether a medication is right for you, and a state-licensed pharmacy dispenses any prescription. Genetics is a guide, not a guarantee. This report is for wellness and education, not diagnosis. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any peptide protocol.

Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) let you set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified health expenses. HSAs are linked to high-deductible health plans, and funds in these accounts roll over year after year. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) allow you to use pre-tax dollars for eligible health expenses. Unlike HSAs, FSAs are not tied to a specific health plan and often require you to use the funds within the calendar year. FSAs are typically provided by employers.
At checkout, select "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA." Some products require a Letter of Medical Necessity. Complete a brief chat-based telehealth consultation to confirm eligibility if required. Enter your HSA/FSA card details and complete your purchase. If you don’t have your HSA/FSA card available, use a regular credit or debit card. Submit your Letter of Medical Necessity and itemized receipt (provided by Flex) to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement.
HSA and FSA cards are debit cards, and the most common reason for declines is insufficient funds. Reach out to your HSA/FSA administrator to confirm your balance.
If you don’t have your HSA or FSA card handy, still select “Flex - Pay with HSA/FSA” as your payment method. Enter your credit card information and Flex will email you an itemized receipt to submit for reimbursement.
A Letter of Medical Necessity is a document from a licensed healthcare provider that verifies the medical necessity of a product or service, making it eligible to purchase using your HSA or FSA. This might include items or treatments like supplements or physical therapy that aren’t automatically recognized as eligible expenses.
A licensed clinician will determine your eligibility during a chat-based telehealth consultation. According to IRS guidelines, you must have a medical condition that warrants the product or service you intend to purchase using your HSA/FSA. A range of conditions, such as cardiovascular, metabolic, musculoskeletal, autoimmune, neurological, or mental health conditions, could qualify.
Your Letter of Medical Necessity is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. It can be used for any eligible purchases made during this time. Be sure to keep and submit all related receipts when filing with your HSA/FSA administrator.
You should keep it on file for at least three years in the event of an IRS audit of your HSA or FSA account. Occasionally, FSAs may ask for the Letter to confirm the eligibility of your purchase.
All products shown in the Flex Marketplace are HSA/FSA eligible, some may require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN). PlexusDX may also offer additional eligible items on their website. When shopping directly on PlexusDX's site, look for HSA/FSA messaging on individual product pages. Flex accepts HSA/FSA cards, credit/debit cards, and split payments. Select Flex at checkout to pay for your purchase.
